A series of practical workshops which will help you to improve your understanding of plants and gardening. All of the courses are based at Rasell’s Nursery in Little Bytham in South Lincolnshire, and are led by Jackie Murray. Seasonal themes beginning in October 2007 include the following... Then over a glass of wine and light supper there will be a short illustrated talk and time to discuss plant highlights and gardening. Gardeners Supper Programme6.45pm Arrive and Welcome. 7.00pm Garden walk and to look at the June plant highlights-amble around the garden on a long summer evening. 8.00pm Light supper and glass of wine and illustrated talk. Plants and gardening talk in the "studio" . There will be a limited number of places to ensure a relaxed convivial meeting, and for you to get the most from your visit. SNOWDROP LUNCHES 2009 **dates to follow**We have been growing snowdrops for many years, and the garden at The Well Cottage now contains a lovely display of many varieties. The garden is on a slope and has been terraced; between the terraces small gravel paths allow people to view the plants with ease. Lunch will be a celebration of the excellent produce available in Lincolnshire and Rutland. We aim to use organic produce whenever possible. We look forward to providing a wholesome lunch, including home baked organic bread and home made preserves. Each of the snowdrop lunches will be limited to a small number of people, offering a convivial atmosphere, and to let you get the most from your visit to the garden.
